- How does Wise Health Emergency Center & Urgent Care work?
The urgent care side of Wise Health Emergency Center & Urgent Care treats patients with non-life threatening illnesses or injuries that need attention quickly. If your illness or injury happens after urgent care hours, you can still see one of our qualified, board certified emergency medicine physicians in the Emergency Center. If your illness or injury is more emergent and/or life threatening than urgent care, you will be seen as an Emergency Center patient.
- What insurance plans does Wise Health Emergency Center & Urgent Care accept?
All of our physicians at Wise Health Emergency Center & Urgent Care will be in-network for all major managed care plans. We also accept Medicare and Medicaid.
- Do I need an appointment to be seen?
No. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis.
- Who will be treating me?
Wise Health Emergency Center & Urgent Care is staffed 24/7 by board certified emergency medicine physicians. The facility also staffs qualified nurses, medical assistants and x-ray technologists.
